Transforming Tech Service

Transforming Technology Training Services @ Your Library
BRANDY @digiVide and STEPHEN @8bit_coder from NYPL

So, I was really excited about this session, because I thought it went hand-in-hand with an item on the Technology Services SSP: Training Staff in Technology Services.  However, it seemed to be more focused towards teaching technology services to the public NOT to other staff. So - I attended the session very open-minded and something amazing happened - Inspiration and Excitement for future classes, tech space, and branding! I am really excited about talking with staff and tech services about the implications of this materials such as coding series or closed lab hours (etc.)

The pamphlet provided with the presentation was AMAZING and has totally SPARKED my imagination of classes and types of classes.

The importance of technology skills continues grow ALA (2001-201) over 36% of US public libraries report increasing number of patrons signing up for technology services.
